• Your name, email address, mobile number, reminder preferences, and membership choices.
• Details you choose to provide about important people and occasions, including names, relationships, dates, interests, favorite places, sizes, budgets, allergies or sensitivities, traditions, gift notes, and things to avoid.
• Requests to add, change, remove, or correct information and communications you send us.
• Subscription and transaction details, such as plan, payment status, renewal date, and limited billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your complete card number.
• Basic technical information generated when you use the website, such as device, browser, and security or diagnostic information made available by our hosting providers.

How we use information

• Provide, personalize, and improve reminder services and gift or celebration ideas.
• Send the email or text reminders and service messages you request.
• Process memberships, renewals, plan changes, and cancellations.
• Respond to questions, confirm account updates, prevent fraud, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

Information about other people

The service lets you save details about people who matter to you. Please share only information you have the right to provide, keep it relevant to your reminder or gift-planning needs, and avoid highly sensitive information that is not necessary for the service. You are responsible for the information you submit about another person.

When we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate, such as Stripe for payments, Tally for forms, website hosting, and providers used to deliver email or text messages. They receive only the information needed to perform their services and process it under their own terms and privacy practices.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate fraud or misuse, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Email and text choices

Members may choose email reminders, text reminders, or both. If you request text reminders, you consent to receive informational service messages at the number provided. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help. You can also change your delivery preference through Member Tools. Choosing text messages is not a condition of purchase because email reminders remain available.

We may still send non-promotional messages needed to complete transactions, confirm changes, or respond to you.

Retention and security

We retain information while your membership is active and afterward for a reasonable period when needed for records, support, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. We may delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No website, form, email, text, or storage system can guarantee complete security.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your membership. You may also change reminder preferences or cancel service using Member Tools. Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal, security, billing, or recordkeeping purposes.

Children’s privacy

You Remembered is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information directly to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
